Early Birds is the nature & environmental program of VARA Radio. Every Sunday morning between seven and ten o'clock, hundreds of thousands of Dutch people wake up with sounds of whistling birds, cracking branches, burling red deer, rustling trees, demonstrating activists and classical music. Since 2007, early birds regularly broadcast on TV.
